Hello everybody, I have been getting email about my crochet. Actually I get a lot of email regarding my crochet and all of it—okay, well maybe I get one, maybe one a week. That is not very nice because the guy is crocheting, but I get a lot of really positive emails from guys and girls and people wanting to try it and people expressing their thank you and everything. I have also been getting recent email that people have been giving me the pattern written down and those are the same pattern that you see in the back of the whole packages, it says 1SC and then 2ST, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, but do not really give you any visual.
So what I did—see, and I have problems with that because I have a hard time reading—this is like reading music to me. It is very difficult. You are not even sure you are doing it right, but this is the book that I use, it is the Harmony Guide to Crochet Stitches and the ISBN number and I am going to put right on the bottom of your screen. There it is and the ISBN number, if you want to look at it for online, you will find it on amzon.com, it is 0-71110028-4 and I will put that on the bottom of your screen.
In this book, this is a fantastic book, everything that I thought you is on this book, except for the beanie hunts, but what I like—look at these. Look at how it gives you all the visual on what you are doing and I absolutely love this book and I bought this like maybe 25 years ago. Well almost 20 years ago, maybe 20, 25 years ago when I was growing up and it is still available online and this is the great thing, it shows you what the pattern will look like, but I will show you the actual diagram. It also gives you like the written out, but it is so much nicer to see the diagram on every single stitch.
So you may be thinking I am like gifted at crochet. The reality is this book has been amazing as far as like show me how to do it and color pictures. I paid $12.95 for this one I was growing up, so I do not know what it would be now, maybe a little bit more, a little bit less, who knows?
And so I am not going to—so yes so if you are going to give me those kind of things written out, it is very difficult for me to do that because I cannot visually see the diagram, I really struggle with that and I am not that stupid, I just find like this written direction that has to be—it is really tough. So yes, so that will be my answer to that as far as like I am not going to do any of those stuff that I am receiving, but just the letter—I like diagrams and I think that is why people are sending to me because they do not really understand the directions that are on the back of these packages or whatever so—so I think that would be a fair comment that I am not really interested in completing any of those kind of—I am trying to be nice and I am not trying to—I do not want to do any of those stitches that I am receiving form people that are just—because they are not sure how to do it, they want me to teach them how to do it from that. I really do struggle with that and so I cannot be nice all the time, so I am not going to do that and I am sorry. Well I am not sorry, I just do not want to do that, but it is too much of a struggle for me. I think I will freak out if I attempt to do that.
So that is my share for this book and that is why I would not be responding to that stuff.
