Scott Bloom, Bloom Real Estate Group, commercial real estate professionals here in New York City. One of the best ways to expand your business is to do something that most of your competitors don't. While they are busy only focusing on how to increase revenues, think about decreasing cost. If you are in a service business for example payroll is probably your number one expense and rent is number two. You as a business owner are probably paying attention number 1345 on down and or your highest paid salaried employees. Meanwhile rent is going out the door every month. That lease that you signed is sitting in somebody's file drawer and nobody is paying attention to what's happening. Have a real estate professional come in and do review of your existing lease. We for example find that 30% of those leases, the tenants have been over paying the landlord not versus the market but versus the actual transaction that they made and that contract is sitting in a file drawer that they don't even look at.
