Few of the things I should point out as well, right beside my watermark, I have my page background color. And again, when I am setting this up I am going to get this live preview happening here. I am going to set the page background color. If I want, I can go in and find more colors as well. Of course the other thing I can do is set a page boarder. I am just using my page boarder button here. And for example, I could come in here and perhaps put a frame all the way around my page. Come in here and choose different colors. This is very nice for title pages and that sort of thing. Drop down my width pull down and set a different line width here, hit okay, and there is my page boarder. To remove it, I will just go back into my page boarders and choose none.
The other things we should talk about are margins and paper size and this is also underneath your page layout tab underneath your page set up. If I drop down my margins pull down here, the default of course is normal but I can choose narrow or moderate or wide or mirrored, whatever I would like here. And of course that automatically readjusts my entire document. Again, this is happening not just on page one but on my entire file. Feel free to scroll through your document if you would like to see this on other pages. Just beside my margins, I have my orientation so I can go portrait or landscape. And also my paper size, 8.5" x 11" is my default but sometimes I need to change that to US legal for example. I will just scroll down here and show you what I have. And of course at anytime, I can switch back not only to 8.5" x 11" but I can also switch my margins back to normal. This is the great thing about Word 2007 as everything is dynamic. At anytime, I can switch things back and fort.
Another great add on is the ability to very quickly change the number of columns inside my Word documents. In previous versions of Word, working with multiple columns was a bit of a chore. You can see how easy it is to work with here in 2007.
