The HomeServe guide to getting chewing gum off clothes. The icky-sticky mess of chewing gum on clothes is one of the most irritating things in life. But luckily, you don’t have to pin your favorite top because this is a crisis that that can be solved. Here’s HomeServe’s guide to getting the chewy out. Step one, freeze it. First take the gum on top and spay your blisters by putting something else on. Put the spoiled clothes in the freezer and leave for an hour or two. Step two, scrape it. When the gum is frozen hot, scrape it off with a blunt knife. This should get rid of most, if not all of the gum. Step three, scrub it. Next, squirt in a little washing up liquid and salt. Rub against the thread of the fabric and the last of mess should come off. Step four, wash it. Okay finally took it in the wash and it will be as good as new. Done. We hope you enjoyed this tip.
