Top 5 tips, do you remember about Linux I swear I am getting there. Number ones, Linux is not a window or know as a Mac OS 10. It requires a learning curve as anything else. New users need to take a lot of their windows and Mac habits and set them aside when they used Linux for the first time. Keep an open mind. Two, there are well develop open source software applications that are available for Linux, just because the Windows are OS 10 version does not exist on Linux, does not mean there is not an application available that would complete the same task. Remember, you might find an application that you like a lot better than what you have been used to. Number three; choose the Linux distribution that is right for you. Just because it is the most popular, does it mean it is the right choice. There are many Linux distributions that have been developed for certain functions. For example, maybe you want a good Linux Distro to create media and then you might want to look at mini-bunter or studio64. Ff you need several functionality, you might want Distro such as B2Server or Redhat. For those of you who are just looking for a good desktop distribution to do daily task, there are Distro such as PC Linux OS, Ubuntu, Fedora, OpenSUSE, and simple Mepis, is it Mepis or Mapis? I never heard that one is set allowed, etcetera. Another example is for those of you, who are running an older hardware, you might want a liner to weight distribution such PSUbubtu or Xubuntu. Simply Mepis, just sound like crazy if I say it a lot, Mepis. And if it is Mepis NTX or meet Linux. Once again, choose what is right for you. Remember, that is the wonderful thing about Linux. It offers a selection choice that cannot be rival by any other OS on the planet. Very true, it is open source, which means it is built by the community. Number four, there is always to fix to something in Linux. Just because it does not work, does it mean, it is broken. Now, I am not talking geekieness here. The best solution to this is going under law or the distributions forms support a weekly pages. Here you can find a lot or get information on how to fix these issues. Either works out of the box great!
