Speaker: Did you know that you can help your pet go greener by purchasing echo products like organic pet food, toys made out of recycling and comfy hemp beds. New generation of stores like My Pet Naturally have all that and more. Neil, I have got my echo shopping list and I just wanted you if you could help me put the things together.
Neil: I would love to. Let's take a look to it.
Speaker: So a hemp bed how is that better for the environment as opposed to your everyday run of the mill dog bed.
Neil: Well mostly because the hemp is a natural material. Its fiber that is grown, it's a renewable resource and the stuffing in there is otherwise going to be headed to the landfill. So they use that to fill these beds. These are unbleached cottons that are recycled.
Speaker: I notice you have some organic toys here.
Neil: I do. I have an organic here, it's made with organic fabrics and natural dyes and that's the biggest point, it's because it's natural dye it won't get into your dog if they want to tear stickers and why dogs tear this apart and they do swallow them. When they do, you don't want anything that's going to cause them any effect over the years. So being organic, you have no pesticides, nothing that's going to be harmful and the dyes aren't bad.
Speaker: That such a great point. That's something that I don't think I would have thought off is harmful dyes in pet toy.
Neil: Absolutely. Here is another great product. This is hemp rope which means it's very, very strong. You can see how it's tied. These things will last for long time and because it's a renewable resource, these make a great way toy.
Speaker: So what are the toys you have that, that are made out of recycled material?
Neil: I have these great toys here. These are made out of soda pop fill, soda pop bottles that would normally go to landfills.
Speaker: Noticing this one looks like a firehouse and I am saying that it's because it is one.
Neil: Exactly this is a recycled firehouse, very, very durable.
Speaker: A lot of these toys are great because they are made from recycled materials, but I understand you have other toys are recyclable.
Neil: That's correct. Example, these are a rubber toy that are strong or there maybe a rubber plastic feeling of that toy, but these are printed on recycled paper or as far as the packaging goes. But when this toy is done and the dog is no longer interested in it, you can take these send to the recycler and they could be recycled and made into something else.
Speaker: Another item in my shopping list is organic pet food. Can you recommend anything?
Neil: I can one up on that. I think even better than organic pet food it is gone any of their raw diet food which is made out of 75% raw meat and 25% veggies. Your veggies are Candida free, no grain whatsoever in this diet. This is made in a human facility and I think this is what nature is intended for cats and dogs.
Speaker: Alright. My cat better be appreciative of all the good things from the environment.
Neil: They absolutely will.
