Hazelnuts - also called filberts - are rich in protein and vitamins, and umlike other nut specimens which can take decades to grow and harvest, the hazelnut provides nuts within a couple of years, and is relatively easy to care for.

Well, when people think of fruit trees thy often think of apples or pears. Nuts are great alternative. But unfortunately some nuts like walnuts can take anywhere from 15 to 25 years to bear fruit. But with this little goody right here, the hazelnut or filbert you can actually get fruit in about two or three years. Now, they actually recommend you maybe not harvest some too heavy on the first a little while, but after about five or seven years you going to eat a lot of crop off this. Now, what is we really need about them is there very strong, you do not have to have great soil although great soil are always good for any plant, but they are very bigger as tree. Now, one thing you should remember if you need two of them. Now, this one actually happens to be Barcelona. A Barcelona is a very good producer and you can also use a bottler or do chilly as polarizer so you get maybe two or three or four bottlers if you have enough have room and you can put the other one an in as a polarizer and you should have a wonderful crop. Now, there are great looking tree too in a sense that you have get a bit of a full color to them. And if you want you do not have a lot of room you can actually grow them as a small bush. You can get off and sand out at lot suckers off the bottom here, although we have got a single trunk they send up sucker and you can have a small bush and still have a lot of lot of nut for you to enjoy. So, if you are looking for a small tree maybe an alternative to your standard apples or pears and may want to try the hazelnut.
