Hi! I am Mark Donovan from homeadditionplus.com. And today I am excited about putting in some solar lights on my frame enclosure that sits around my pool pump. What I have got here is a solar light that has a photovoltaic on top to basically absorb the sunlight. And that energy gets stored into a battery, and allows me to get about 8 to 10 hours of light, during the night to shine out of this lamp.
I can mount this, this on a 4x4 post, as I am about to do here, or I can attach it to a stick and put into a garden for example, if I would like. To mount this solar light, I took the base portion and just simply inserted on top of the 4x4 post. And put in the plastic glass, and than simply, put the cover on.
So, all I have do to secure the solar light to the post is simply attach two screws, in the base of the unit. So, now I have attached the solar unit. All I have to do is allow the sun to shine down on it. It will absorb energy and at the end of the day, the light will automatically switch on and run for about 8 to 10 hours before it runs out of energy.
In the morning it will recharge itself and repeat itself. So, that's simple no wires, it take about 5 minutes to install these. So, if there are any other home improvement questions visit us at homeadditionplus.com today.
