Hi I’m Sandy, with A Floral. Here to show you this great bouquet holder. Isn’t it nice, its cage dried flower foam? It’s more like a Styrofoam, it is a little heavier. And it got these artificial stems coming out of it. And then I picked up this mix flower of bouquet has roses, Ranuculus, stephanotis, and high essence. These are little great prices. And I cut one of these up and we are going to arrange it in this brand new bouquet holder that I just love.
I am going to start roses, and the foam is kind of difficult as I have said, because it’s harder. So you want to make sure, you have a nice heavy stem, and you could stick that in. Once it’s in there, it’s nice and secure. But it is a little bit heavy and so put them in very securely.
We started with three roses, and now, I am going to use the Ranunculus in between the roses, and around the edge. You will notice that I pushed all the leaves up, so that we are using the leaves as well as the flowers. Remember you are paying for those leaves, so you want to use them, and they make such nice filler in between your flowers.
So now, we have four Ranunculus, and three roses. And if you are wondering why I am using four to make something round, it’s because that is the number that comes out of the bouquet. So we have to work with what they have. And I have this beautiful stephanotis with the pearl centers. We will put those up in the center near the focal rose in the middle, so that if you are the bride, you can look at them, and when people are looking at you holding your bouquet, they will see them, as well.
Now I have some miscellaneous flowers leftover, and we are going to use those around the edge. So some of the great high essence, we have some freesia, and we will put this right around the edge. Let them cascade down a little bit, fills in some of the holes, gives us some new texture and a better shape.
And this is a good place that you have, and any little pieces leftover to use the stemming machine. And I will put a nice steel pick on the end of that. And I can stick that right into the foam. And now, I put this steel pick on one more, because its stem isn’t quite long enough or durable enough to stick into the foam.
And if anyone is a crafter or has a floral business, you always have a box of leftover of bits and pieces. And this is a nice place to use up some of that. So I have some little pieces of stephanotis that I used in another project and did not use all of it so I can put some of those in here. And it has a little ivy with it. Just to finish up and fill in any of the little spaces that might be left. We do not need to do this, because there really were enough flowers with what we had, but I like to use up all the leftovers. If you have any ivy leftover, you can add that in, or maybe you have a little rose leftover from here or there.
Wasn’t that quick and easy? Look how beautiful and the stems are there for you already.
Good luck!
