DawnsStampingThoughts
Hi stampers! Today, I want to show you how we made this photo book. I actually made this one a few years ago just using orchid peelants but it has convention photos from few years ago.
So anyway, let me show how I basically made the book. I want to tell you what the measurements are for everything that I used here. Let me do that first. This piece of designer paper is the Bella rose and that is 4 ¾” x 6" and then this designer paper is also a Bella rose and that is ¾” x 6" and then Whisper White is cut at; before I did the punches, cut at about 2” x 6” and then after I punched it with the Scallop Edge punch, I trimmed it down to about 1 ¼”. And then I am using the Always stamp set along with white taffeta ribbon. And then the cardstock I am using is the Riding Hood Red. So, you are going to need two pieces of cardstock and those are cut at 7 ¼” x 5” and you are going to score one piece at 1” on one end and then you are going to need however many envelopes you are going to use. I going to use, I guess I want to use four today.
Okay, so let us go and get started on the book. I am going to go ahead and apply some snail or sticky strip right at the top and then take your clear envelope because I am going to have that envelope with the opening facing upward and that I am just going to line this up to the edge of my book. You cannot see that clear there. Okay, and then I am going to push that down
Now, the reason I want it to open at top is because I want to put the pictures in there of course but when you are layering your envelope, you can just peel off this sealing paper, whatever you want to call it, and then apply your next envelope, which I already went ahead and peeled off this stuff and then just lined them up on top of each other.

You cannot see very good. Okay, just push that down. Push another one, just to line them on top of each other and then I will put four. This is will be my last one.

Okay, then you are going to go ahead and apply your snail or your sticky strip onto the other piece of cardstock where the 1” score line is and then you are just going to line them up together and that is your book, really easy.
All right, then I get some pictures here. I will just go ahead and show you how I put them in here. I got these funny pictures of my husband and my daughter. And you just slide your picture inside your envelope, like that, put the other one behind that one, really cute. So, there is the book, super easy.
All right now, I am going to show you how I use this scallop punch, the new punch from Stampin’Up, that is going to be on the new catalogue. This is actually called the Scallop Edge punch and I always like to work with my punches on the back side. So, what I am going to do is I will put my Whisper white into the punch and then I am just going to punch that out and then this is what the punch is going to actually look like and then I am going to take these two end scallops of the punch and line them up with these two ends right here. And then you got to get a perfect alignment, so then you just punch all the way down like that. Really cute, really easy and there you go. It looks like a finish card or the finished book.
Okay. All right girls, we will see you later. Thanks. Bye.
