On this video we are going to learn something that is really close to my heart.

It is a balloon heart of course. Very, very cool, very, very nice but it have a lot of balloon artist and lot of people that starting out the balloon, but do not know how to create a nice looking balloon heart.
To create a balloon heart you take type of balloon you want, mine is 260. I use a pink. You can use any color you like. Inflate it all the way. Now, here is the tricky part, you want to let some air out just a tinny whinny bit. So, you have a piece of tail that you can tie of. Now, instead of tying this, and then tying it again, you just take the two ends like so and you create a double knot. Once, and over two fingers and through, this will create a really nice neat looking bottom part for the heart.
Now, this is the cool part. To make the heart, we are going to use distortion. Now, distorting the balloon is a really nice technique to get different shapes out of a straight line you usually use. But, in order to create a nice distortion, you have to let the air out of the balloon and then into the balloon shaping it the way you want it.
That will form the shape you wanted. Now, to create the heart what we will do is find the center which is opposite to the knots. I place the balloon on my belly using both hands facing up, I am holding the balloon in the center of the balloon is between both hands.
Now, I am squeezing it towards me and I am holding it with my right hand. This is the first part. Make sure it is nice and neat and tightly hold. Now, what I am going to do is with the left hand and right hand, I am going to squeeze the air out.
Remember, squeezing the air out of the balloon and then gently letting it back in. now, we did not actually take the air out of the balloon, just squeeze it out of this part, after you do this that creates the band in the balloon. You can make small band or you can create a really tight band by really taking the air out and letting it go like this that will create a tighter band. That depends on the type of heart you want to do.
Now, this is done, but you can add a little detail and shaping by taking this part and kind of rolling it like this towards the middle. That will also create a kind of nice shaping creates a nice looking heart. But, that is just a small detail you might prefer to do or not to do.
Now, this is the heart you can add stuff on the heart or you can add the heart to a balloon half, whatever you like to do. Now, remember the teddy bear we did in the last video, we will take that teddy bear and replace that inside the heart. Now, you can use the teddy bear’s tail and put that kind of roll it through on the bottom and lock that in by rolling the tail around the heart. That will create the teddy bear sitting on the heart like so. You arrange that, that is a really, really easy and impressive balloon that you can give to your friends or loved ones. Valentines is perfect day. You can change the color to match the color of your love, and just have fun with it.
