Hi, I am Sandy with Ace Floral and today we are working with the wreath rings. This is a wreath ring underneath the plastic that holds water and then we have the fresh flowers foam on top of it. I started adding some baker’s fern to it. Sometimes you see these decorated just around the bottom so it actually looks like a wreath. Today, we are going to make a center piece out of it something colorful and more unique. Remember, whenever you used fresh flowers, you always take the leaves off, the part that is going to stick into the foam. This is a small piece of foam so you do not want to make holes in it any larger than you have to. I have some solid aster here and you can see I have put in tall piece and now I am going to put into shorter pieces. This is going to be fun because we are not using this wreath ring like you would expect it to be instead we are making something tall in the back and we will make it shorter in the front. I am going to add a couple of roses in here. We have one little cluster of flowers. If we want to make it taller, we just add a taller flower. We are going to make another little cluster of flowers in the front. Again, a short stem because this is a small piece of foam. We are reusing the Gerbera daisies for our cluster. This is to look a little bit like a garden. That is the idea. You can see here in the back, we have a rose garden with our solid aster and here in the front, we have Gerbera daisies which grow a little shorter and closer to the ground. In between, we have a lot of greenery because in our natural environment there would be a lot of greenery around your garden. The leaves from the flowers themselves, grasses in my garden maybe a weed or two. How about in yours? So now, we have two groupings of flowers; let us add a little more. How about some of our Aster Marian lilies? They grow in the cluster so let us put them in a cluster. I actually cut them all apart so there are several stems here and then we will just poke them in as though they are one. We can do that with two groups making sure we get rid of the leaves because they will die first and then we have a little cluster of lilies. Now, we have a little Gerbera in our garden, a little lily in our garden. We have one more left over so let us not waste that, let us put this in. I think maybe we need a little filler with this one so I have a little baby’s breath and baby’s breath rose in these clusters so this will look perfect. This is just kind of a fun arrangement. Something a little different that you might see in your typical vase or centerpiece style. Where would you put something tall like this in one sided? It could go on your mantel piece, it could go on your table. It could go on a buffet if you are only using one side. Now, we have three groupings and we need to fill in this little section over here. Miniature carnations grow beautifully in your garden and they also hold up very well in centerpieces. They are long-lasting flower. Let us just put a little cluster of miniature carnations over here. They grow several on a stem so it is good if we cluster them. It looks like they are really growing, make sure you include the buds because that would be how they will be growing naturally, some open flowers and then of course a new bud would form and is not this fun? This is the last of the technical arrangement and more of just that your own eye can tell you if it is the way you like. Here, we have started with a round ring and we have added our roses and solid aster over here and lilies and baby’s breath, Gerbera in the front and some miniature carnations. Is not that a fun design?
