Okay, I am back everybody. I want to show you how to make those really cute Birthday bows, Christmas bows. I thought I would start at the part where we are cutting. Just follow the cutting directions above in this post. You are going to cut everything at 1-inch. After you have cut, your 1-inch by 6-inch strips, you are going cut eight of those. Once you get that done, then you are going to take your remaining piece of card stock and you are going to turn it and you are going to cut 1-inch, one of those. And then you are going to turn it back and you are going to cut the remainder of your 1-inch and you are going to cut four of those. Let us go ahead and do that real quick and cut four of those. You are going to use exactly all your 6x12 piece of designer paper.
When you are finished, you should have four strips, eight strips, and then one strip. Okay, so let us move this cutter. Now what you are going to do now, I am going to show this to you a couple of times. You are going to take all your 1-inch strips here and you want to start with the 8-inches. You pick that up. I cannot pick it up. Okay, now I am going to divide this into four groups here because I want it to be different so it should have four less. I am going to turn those over. What I am going to do is I am going to take one strip. You are going to apply your snail and a little piece at the bottom of it.
This is how you are going to fold your bows. Fold it towards you and then you are going to put a little twist at the end. Let us do it again. Okay so you are going to take your strip, fold it to you and then put a little twist at the end or adhere it down like that. You are going to do all your strips like that. I am just going to go ahead and put on my snail on there. You are going to twist it. That is really the trick right there is the little twist at the end. You do not want to forget to do that so you get one set of four done.
We are going to put that to the side and then we are going to do our next group of four, the same exact same way. I am just going to wind them up here. I am going to put my adhesive at the bottom. You do not need a lot. You are going to twist adhere, twist, adhere, twist it, twist it. Okay so there is your other group of four then I am going to do my other group right her, applying adhesive and do the same thing.
So, you got all your three groups of your bows done. Now on the last little one piece, I am going to flip this over because I want this to be on the outside here, because I want it to be different a little bit. You are just going to adhere that together like that. Now you are going to take your 1/16 punch and you are going to just punch a little tiny whole where they are overlapping—oh that is my 1/8 punch. Hold on a minute.
Okay, sorry about that. Okay, we did a 1/8 there, we were supposed to do 1/16 so I got my 1/16 punch here now. It will not matter. We are going to improvise. Remember there is no mistakes in stamping. Okay, so we are going to punch in all the holes. Now keeping your groups separate, just go ahead and punch them all. Like that. Actually, these go really pretty quick.
Now you are going to take your brads with your and you are going to put one in the center where your 1/16 punch was and you are going to adhere it together with this brad like that. Okay, so there is one of your petals. Close it up at the back and you can move them and position them however you want and then we are going to do the next layer.
Let see that hole there so that you can see where you are putting it like that. Seeing you and just closing it in the back in case and you are just going to position it. Okay, now we are going to do the last layer. Okay, it is a bit closed like that. Do you see it. Okay, so now, all your layers are done and now you are going to take the Pop up Glue Dots.
You want to keep this leftover. At least that is what found. I am going to show you something. So now, I want my first layer to be the bottom. See how they are going to overlap each other. We are going to put that glue dot on the back that like that and then you are going to position it in the center of your bow. Take the next layer. See now how the stripes are going up. I think we are done on there again. Push that down.
You really want to make it secure so you want to really push it down and now where the little gap is right there. I like to put the glue dot right there and then put that right in the center.
Okay so there is your bow. Now what I like to do also is I like to flip it over and kind of glue that there. Remember I told you to keep this stuff and tear that off. Keep that on there like that, look. Like that. And then it is ready for use whenever you need it, then great. Thank you so much. We will see you soon. Bye.
