Female Speaker:I need you to crack some eggs for me, can you do that? Here we have the cup for you. I need you to crack both of those eggs into that little cup. Oh, good job. And your garbage is right underneath you, and when you are done, you would sponge and rinse your hands a little bit. Don't worry, hit it. It's a hard egg, huh!
One more time, hit it hard. Don't be afraid. One more time, one more time. There you go. Is that all done? That's looking very cool. Yup, good job. I will get rid of that for you. Good!
So now we have to add the eggs to this mixture. So Monika, Macken, you hold on to this, and you stir in those eggs as much as you can, right, and she puts them in there, and I am going to add this. Do you know what this is? It kind of looks kind of funny, what is it?
Child: Vanilla
Female Speaker: Vanilla, how did you know?
Child: Because there are vanilla in there.
Female Speaker: Again. This is a homemade vanilla, all I did was take old vanilla pods that I removed the seeds from earlier, and just simply poured vodka over the top or a little bit of sherry, and sometimes rum, it doesn't matter. But it's a homemade extract, so that you don't have to actually purchase any. Oh, look at that, beautiful.
Mix that all up really well, and then, we are simply going to add the two mixtures together and then we get to season them with whatever we want, especially for our chocolate chips. We will prepare with those eggs. I also brought walnuts. Do you like nuts? Well, we will make one with chocolate, and one without chocolate, how about that? I will make everybody happy.
Good, alright. So now we have it mixed. Now Micheal, I want you to pour that just a little bit at a time, think of it as three times, you are going to put a third of it in. Can you see what you are doing?
Child: Yeah.
Female Speaker: Okay, stop. Now you can mix it up like Macken did. Monika, you can pour the next one in, so you are helping out. Wait till she gets that all mixed in. Look at that, now that's certain to look like good cookie better. Okay Monika, go ahead and pour some of that in there, and now we will let Micheal do the last little bit -- I will help you out here.
Oh, good job. Micheal, you can do the last bit, and then, what we are going to do after we separate it out and so some with nuts, some without, some with chocolate, we are going to chill them down, so we can easily cut out nice rounds and bake them off. Here, let me see how that's looking. Let me help you a bit.
Now with this kind of a badger, you can make any kind of cookies you want. You can do white chocolate chips, you can do any kind of nuts you want. Go ahead and throw that in there. Good, alright, well we will just get this last little bit mixed in here and see how it's coming together to be more like a doll, so I could actually pick it up that's what we want to see.
Now I am going to give half of this to Micheal, and half of this to the girls and you are going to mix in your ingredients. I will give you a little extra there. Here you go, and Micheal, how about, you do some nuts? I will pour a few of those in there. So it's a matter of how many you like, and do you guys want chocolate chips? You an stick your hands in there, that's what I want to see. I want to see you get all dirty.
There we go, stick your hands in it. This the best part about cooking getting dirty. Look at that. Good job. Oh, that looks fantastic. Great! Oh! Oh! Yummy! Alright. Now I want you to scoop that out and blob it right on your paper. Girls ready? You are going to scoop and blob, you are having too much fun. Nice job. Wow! you got all that under here so you can scoop it out of there. Try to keep it in one big blob, please. Scoop, then blob. Get that all out of there. Don't be afraid, get dirty, yes, keep going.
Look at all that. Oh! Beautiful, alright. Now I will show you what we do with it. We are going to kind of script all over to remove that off your fingers at the end. Alright, no we are not going to do that yet, but good job so far, what we are going to do we have to chill it down for us. So girls, do you want to watch what we are doing, so you can kind of do it at the same time?
Micheal and I, will do it over here. We need to create a roll of cookies. So you want to turn your paper so that you have the cookie facing you, and you want to flatten it down till like, think of a long snake, a long tubular snake, nice and even, so it's evenly round all the way through.
Good, alright, so now watch what we are going to do here. Let me guess. We are going to slide this over, and I hope you guys, once I am done here because you guys are sticky, I am going to roll this over, just like that, and it turns into a tubular cookies, just like that.
Now what I am going to do is, throw this in the freezer to get it cooled really fast, that's right up here, and now to the sticky girls, you will probably want to wash your hands. Alright, come over here and I will turn it on for you, and here is the soap, here we go, sweetie. You like it, you just like the feel of that.
Okay, so I am turning it into a log old cookies, just like that, nice and round. That way, we will throw them in the freezer. By the time, we cut them, they will be baked for cookies. Beautiful, you guys, good job.
