Alright folks, now then, I just want to read you an email I have someone, okay. Perhaps we are getting millions of emails by now, you are a big star. Well, I hope this reaches you, first, I would like to say how your videos have been valuable to my learning craft and you should be very proud of the impact you have made on the world, mate.
My name is something back on a house DJ, starting out. I leave in Sydney, Australia and I want to try and find work as a DJ. I have recorded some of my work and put it on MySpace. If you could find 30 minutes to spare, I would really, really appreciate some feedback on what you think of my site mixing, et cetera.
I wanted to make a 10 minute with you but have yet to source a camera. My plan is to burn – just listen, my plan is to burn like 50 CD’s of the stuff on MySpace with a nice design and mail it loads of clubs in the city just like you suggested. If you could give me some extra guidance in how to get a gig would be immensely wake it in cool.

Well, you do not need too, not really, not at all. If you remember, I actually said on a video, that when you are doing this permanent mixes, I know some people, it is going to be all quick.
But when you do in this permanent mixes, let us see you. Let us try and get a picture of you as well. Well, that is your CV, okay. Maybe you may not have worked in many places, but any night club manager right there, will see talent straight away. They will see talent in a millisecond, alright. Yes, the mixing place apart, the music plays apart, because at the end of the day, a manager in a night club is not going to employ turntable in a house night club.
They are not going to reemploy someone who plays top 40 material in a hip-hop club, are they? Exactly, okay. So, this is it, think about it logically, this is so logical. By the way, this is not the big thing, but this is a big thing as well. I can say this to you now, alright. Think about it logically, alright. You do your mix, you got a good mix, do it professional. I mean, the thing is, try and practice your mix first. Get it good, alright.
Get it nice, get it well constructed, alright. Do that mix, show to yourself, alright. You do not have to go “Hello, I am so and so” just look good, alright. Smile in front of the camera occasion. That is the easy, just cuddle over as though you are happy and you are enjoying yourself that night club owners, the radio presenters.
if you want to use the microphone, wanting to see you as well as listen to the music and if you can put yourself over correctly and professionally, then I will tell you what, there will be night club owners knocking at your door, okay. Because as soon as word starts to get out, they will be looking for new talent and I hope the new talent is you. Practice and enjoy.
