This drill that we are going to do is resistance running. For Bobby, we are going to use a green or average band, from a company called Jump Stretch. If you are a lighter athlete or a younger athlete, you would use a lighter resistance and we are going to travel over 15 yards.
We are going to worry about that explosion now and we are going to focus on just slowing Bobby down, about 10% of his normal speed. You don't want to hold him back. This goes right around the athlete's hips, and then go to another athlete, just stand behind holding the band with two hands the entire time and just giving him a little bit of resistance.
