Male Speaker: Never before history of gardening has a competition that's so fierce. We are taking it to the next level, it has three contestants each provide with their shot at the coming of Golden Hoe. Hanah: So if you have got a windows set that gets out five hours of sunlight a day, you are golden. You can grow an amazing indoor herb garden. All you need is a planter box, some soil, and some thunder plants. So I am going with Rosemary, Thyme and Basil and I think I can do something really incredible here. Female Speaker: Start off by placing a layer of soil at the bottom of your container. This allows the plants to put their roots down. So for this particular container, I am going to leave about 2-3 inch layer of organic potting soil. Then it's time to put your plants in. So you want to position your plants in the container about 6 inches apart or more, and group the plants that want a lot of water together, and the plants that don't really need that much water together as well on the other side. Finish filling it in with the potting mix and firm it gently around the plants, but leave room at the top of the container for watering. This is very important. So on this one side over here, I have my Thyme and my Rosemary. They don't want so much water, and my Basil, water lover. Planting this by the way, took me literally 10 minutes, and I don't have to add any fertilizer because we are going to let the plants put their roots down first. So I am ready to go and I am going to win this competition. It's going to be awesome, Mike is going down, and Heather is going down. I am totally ready.
