Speaker: The thing about us, those of us who work at home, we are almost always expected to make dinner. So we are always looking for the easiest and most delicious way to do so.
This is a very easy way to prepare short ribs. It's delicious and simple. Put your short ribs in a bed of onions, well seasoned onions, and other spices. Wrap it in aluminum foil, bake it an oven, at 350 degrees, for two hours, and you are done.
I like mine with some honey on top and some Jamaican Jerk season on top, but be creative and add your own different ways to do it. Just remember, two hours, at 350 degrees.
Okay. So while this is in the oven, you might as well cook some rice, which is very easy. Just remember, a two to one ratio; two measures of water to one measure of rice, and then bring the water to a boil.
I like to add consommé to my water for flavoring. Once it starts to boil of course, you add the rice, stir, put it on simmer, and put the lid on.
Personally, I don't care for the oil in my short ribs, so I will usually pour it off, or perhaps put it in a bowl or something, refrigerate it, separate the oil from the gravy, and use the gravy to add to whatever I am cooking with my short ribs.
