Male: At first heard in Make magazine a while ago but I check it out back then and did support my generation iPod and there were as many applications that you can use it for but it kind of interesting. But recent add I would check it out and if did a lot more development and goes all the way up to here fifth generation iPod with video.
Male: So it so aside from doom what else can you do with iPod Linux?
Male: There are other emulators where like the game boy there is mame. And there is plenty of writing programs.
Male: How do you write on an iPod?
Male: You got to there are lots of different text input methods but the mame one is you scroll through the letters and numbers and press like and you where it one letter at a time with just the one button.
Male: Got you, so what about everybody at home that has an iPod just wondering with the compatibility is you know by generation of iPod?
Male: Well the wiki on iPodlinux.org definitely helps explain it there is a whole graft listing the generation some what parts of the iPod it supports.
Male: Okay but when can I see the shop Linux time soon?
Male: No definitely not.
Male: Okay now if we put Linux on our iPod we going to loose any of your original iPod functionality.
Male: Absolutely no because what you are doing is dual booting and will let you either boot the apple form where or the Linux software.
Male: So it is just a ground if you are going to put you know—
