I have a problem; my video files are so big that I cannot email it to anyone because of the 20 megabyte limit. So, it can make it a tutorial about good compression software and or Codec’s? Or any other way to do so. So, it is saying that it is trying to send large file but when he tries to email it, the email program like gmail or hotmail only allows 20 megabytes per email attachments. There is actually 2 ways you can send these large files. One is to just search Google and send larger files. You send it in several sites that allows you to send up to a hundred megabytes or larger, I do not know. Another way is to use free compression software like search downloads 7-Zip. It is free compression software that allows you to split a large file into multiple smaller files. Winrar allows you to do it too, so I will be showing you have to do with-Zip and then winrar. Here is a large file of my last video, it is 28megabytes. I am going to split it into 5 megabytes, small files. All you have to do is right click, after I installed 7-Zip. 7-Zip is free and it is pretty small file size. I add to archive, I am going to zip the compression to normal. The fastest is fine for a video files because video files are pretty much already compress and I am going to split into volumes of 5 megabytes so I just have 5 megabytes and that is it. I click okay and it is going to compress the file into 5 megabytes chunks. See, when I right click and go to properties for this files, it is going to say that they are 5 megabytes each and then once you email to a friend, they have to have some Zip or whatever program you are using and then they can extract it and it generates the large file on the desktop. That is it. I can also use Winrar and it works exactly the same way, for winrar, it is the same thing I just go to the file, I add to archive and I split into volumes, in this case 5 mb like when I click okay and it is going to start generating the archives. It is going to separate them by thesis. Then you can upload each of the files at the time and you can tell your friends to download Winrar or 7-Zip whatever you are using to put the files back together again. Anyways, I appreciate the question and thanks for listening to this video. This is been a video tutorial by JimmyR.com, I hope you enjoyed it if you like my videos, please subscribe.
