To get started juggling three balls, this is what you will need. No, not a laundry basket full of juggling props, but this arm position. There are my hands, our palms up, my arms are parallel to the ground and my elbows are down. That is proper juggling position. Remember, we are going to be talking about it a lot. But what you do need is one ball. This is the one that I made with birdseed. Get started throwing the ball from hand to hand at an arc, a little bit higher than your head. Do not bend your arms too much when you are catching and throwing. Pop the ball out of your hand using a little bit of arm movement so that your hand can be back to catch the next throw. Notice that not throwing it straight up in the air and moving my arms under the ball and throwing the ball to my hand.
Every once in a while, freeze and look at where you catch the ball. Are you back in that proper juggling position like when I was holding the basket? That is where you should be catching the ball. Some people catch up here. When you freeze, you will notice that you fix it. Try to get about 10 throws back and forth, popping back and forth before we move on to two. When you can do that, you are on your way.
Here is a tip. Remember to throw the ball to your hand instead of moving your hand under the ball.
