Hello, and welcome to The Lost Steps of Reiki. My name is Dr. Kevin Ross Emery and I will be bringing you on a little bit of the journey that I have been taking for the last 13 years, with a man named Wei Chi. Wei Chi was the primary voice actually of the book, 'The Lost Steps of Reiki', as well as there was an audio tape class out there geared for Reiki practitioners. I am going to put this aside now or I won't be able to turn my flip chart. So in this class I am going to be sharing a little bit of who Wei Chi is, the philosophies of Wei Chi, how they compare to Usui Reiki, and then I will be opening up for questions from the audience. Who is Wei Chi? Well, it's very interesting. I began channeling Wei Chi in 1995. I am a full body trance channel. I have been trance channeling for about 15 years. In 1995, very shortly after I got my Usui Reiki Mastership, in fact the day that I received the last of my Usui Reiki Master Teacher, I started channeling that evening an entity, who identified himself as Wei Chi. Now, when he first came through, he wasn't the first entity I had ever channeled. I have been channeling for a couple of years by that point, I had channeled a few different entities. But he came through, and when he came through he identified himself, that he had walked the earth plane 5,000 years ago. He walked the earth plane in the area of the world that today we would call Tibet, and then at that time he was what we would call a shaman. He talked -- the Wei Chi energy is very different and very interesting. When I am doing the Wei Chi work, oftentimes you will hear my syntax actually change; the verbiage I use, the way I speak, the way I carry myself, the Wei Chi energy is always a little bit with me. It is definitely a very precise energy, I think is the best way to describe it. He talked about that in his day they were a bunch of shamans that were moving around that part of the world and that many different things were seeded into the earth plane; the early roots of acupuncture, herbalism, aroma therapies, there was a lot of different things that got seeded in that part of the world. Now, he has never said one way or the other if that was the only part of the world that was seeded in. If perhaps they were seeded in other sections of the world, no one has ever asked. In fact, I never thought to ask until this moment, so I don't why, but this is what happens in one of my classes. Suddenly an intuitive hit or a question will come and I will go, I don't know if I know the answer to that. But there is definitely a bunch of seeding; he called it seeded, that things were seeded into the earth plane at that time, in that area. He lived in form for over 1,000 years in the same body. When questioned upon that, he basically said that in those days you only got rid of the form if you were done with it. As long as you chose to keep a form, you kept it. That master -- and one of the things is, Wei Chi calls what we might call the God energy, master, the master energy. Again, we are dealing with a very limited thing when we deal with language. So when he says master, he is not indicating a gender, and he is certainly not indicating a master salve relationship. For the more oriental Asian concept, master is just somebody who has reached like an ultimate peak, and of course the ultimate master is master. Does that makes sense to people? So he referred to master, he said that, when he had been in the form known as Wei Chi for over 1,000 years, master had come to him and said, I need you in a different form somewhere else in the world. All he had ever said about this is that he walked over the hill and was reborn in India at the time, where he brought what was required of him by master in India. So I have never fully -- I never quite fully do all the math on it, it's the year 2000, so we are talking about 3000 B.C., a thousand, so around 2000 B.C. more or less, he was reborn in India, in a high caste system to bring a form of spirituality to India.
