Hi, today we will be talking about how to get the firmware upgrade for your Samsung P2. Like all Samsung MP3 players there are two ways to do it. The first way, they are doing the fast way UCM and Media Studio that means click a button and download the firmware files you need that way real quick, no problems.
The second way is the way we are going to show you today. It is a manual upgrade. You have to go to Samsung.com and once you are on the website go in the download center. And then once you are on the download center you can download the firmware updates.
Now this way seems hard. Do not worry about it. All you got to do is use Samsung Media Studio. Now let us take a look at it. First we got to go into the Samsung home page, and then download the firmware files.
First we got to decompress the files. Okay, now I got to plug in the P2. Now wait for it to open up, open folder, now this is the P2 here. Drag the two files, and drop them in. Wait for the copy and the finish. Alright, now that is finished, go ahead and unplug the P2.
It is going to update at its own, now we do not have to worry about doing anything. Turn it on, firmware updating on its own, we do not have to do anything for it. Good, update is completed.
