It's a fun, easy lesson to teach your kids...recycle those old, broken crayons and make them new again. It's an eco-craft that will show children of all ages how to reuse something they already own.

Mother: This is my son Sam he is now--how old are you? Seven, he is now seven years old. Sam: Seven-and-a-half. Mother: Seven and a half years old and this afternoon we are going to make them use crayons. Now, all you need for this project, are some old pieces of crayons, you are going to pull the paper of with them and many of you probably have this mold lying around. Mould used for making candles or soap or even candies. You can also use the canes if you like. So we are going to separate our crayons into individual colors, then we are going to put in a 200 oven for about 10minutes, once they are melted you can pull them out again and you can see that our crayons of all the colors have started to melt together. Now, we these--the melted crayon in the tin and once we are set, we would have these crayons. Then we are going to pour some of these in. You let them set them and let harden or you can put them into a freezer. We are already finished. This is a candy mold that we have poured and get crayons in two. An orange sponge bob of having the long corner another sponge bob, so we have got our whole little cute sponge bob crayons, here we have got more sea shells coming out of the freezer here in a little bit. Do you learn anything today? You can do it in anyway. You can take your old little friends that you had thrown away and turn it in a little sponge bob for coloring for the afternoon. So teach your kids how to do their part by reusing things they have already got in their own bedroom.
