Hi! I am here with a few tips on the latest trends and kitchen design. Well, gone are the days of cramming all your appliances and everything into a small space, you know, counters and islands and breakfast nooks and all that takes space. And that is what people want these days. That is the trend, is to maximize space. You know, have a big kitchen if you can. If you have a luxury of designing your home from scratch, what I am seeing as a builder, more often than not is people are really expanding the kitchen and they are making it a comfortable place, because it is where most people congregate in a house if you are having a party or just in general. If the family is having dinner, you know, chances are everybody is in there talking while things are being made. So, the trends really are long counters, bigger sinks, islands in the middle of a room, bright colors, lots of windows, lights, you know. It is not a dark place. It is not a cramped place. It is not a stuffy place. You know, the kitchen these days is really some of--it is one of the best rooms in the house. It is one of the well-thought out rooms in the house. And, that is the latest trend that I am seeing in kitchen design. Thanks!
