I found this old laptop and what I am going to do is harvest the expense of rechargeable batteries out of it and use it for other items. Once I opened the casing, I was able to remove the batteries and then clean them up a little bit. A quick test indicated that these batteries produce a 4.83 volts plenty of power. After removing the expensive rechargeable 18650 rechargeable battery I slid this one in and as you can see it worked just fine. Since there were six batteries in the casing I decided to put them in my big flashlight to. So do not throw away those laptops there are plenty of good parts inside.
