People read and text quality impacts their experience. In this lesson, we will compare the use of Device fonts with Embedded fonts and explore two approaches to Font Embedding. We will explore advanced anti-aliasing, embed a font directly from the design time file system and then use the new Flash type technology in the Adobe Flash aid proffering tool to reduce file size by embedding only the character glyphs we choose. We will also use CSS to control font selection and styling and following this, we will explore the visual filters that are available for use with fonts and other visual objects, then implement them through actions script. Last we will explore the rich visual effects available through the Flash Player's color blend modes.
