That service person will also check the electrical components, will check the motor, will check the refrigerant level which means the air conditioner runs more efficiently and that saves you money.
Here’s what you’re going to expect from a professional service company. Number one, check all electrical components and controls. Number two, check for the proper refrigerant levels. Number three, they’ll clean the evaporator and condenser coils. Number four, oil the motor as needed. Number five, calibrate the thermo stat. Number six, check the condenser for any possible problems. And number seven, check clean and over place any filters.
It’s important to schedule this maintenance sooner than later. It’s spring, we’re coming into summer. You don’t want to wait until it’s 90 degrees when 1000 other people are also trying to reach the air conditioning service person to get some help. Get this done now while these people are available.
