Male: We started the planting process by laying the flowers out in the beds pretty much according to plan. They were still in the containers but it gave us an idea of the spacing we needed. And it indicated what the flower garden would look like. You can think of this step as a final check of whether the flower combinations worked together especially the perennials since they are pretty much permanent.
Female: Once you’ve decided where to plant your flowers, getting them into the ground isn’t hard at all. Just dig down far enough for the plants root ball and then stick the plant in upright. You want the plant soil to end up just below the surface of the garden soil, then pack the dirt around the stem and that’s all there is to it.
