Female: There are advantages of planting in rows. For one thing, it’s easier to weed water and feed the vegetables. Our Swiss chard and beets are going to go here so I’ll just mark the ends of each row.
Male: We’re placing our row 18 inches apart. This gives the plant plenty of room to grow. And of course this depends on the vegetables you’re planting so it’s a good idea to check the back of the packet to see how far apart the space of the rows. And to dig the soil we’re using a hoe.
