Hi. I am Guinevere Cramer and I am here with a little bit of fun topic, friendship with the boss. What is too little or what is too much? First step, I would establish some boundaries. Ones that you feel comfortable with because your boss may be a little friendlier than you and just make sure that you are comfortable with this situation. And whatever you do, do not divulge too much information. There are certain things that, it is quite better if your boss does not know about it. Probably things that even your mom does not want to know about. And, be careful with how much you, I guess kiss up to your boss.
You do not want to be sort of the outcast with the rest of the staff. You want your boss to love you and, of course, maintain your integrity with the staff. And something that is someone is always kind of told me because I, myself, like to go out and socialize a little bit, never get too drunk around the boss. Because sometimes, you could have little animosity or something you have been wanting to say and have not been able to say on a regular work day, and it may come out and then, who knows where your relationship will be the next day. So, remember, your boss is a person just like you, so have fun and just appreciate him for the person he or she, for the person is and just be careful. You know what to do. Good luck.
