You are leasing so you may not have a lot of choices when it comes to decorating but we have got design ideas that will help you make their place feel like yours. And every idea is temporary so you will get that deposit back. Does not this look like a museum installation? Well, I am going to show you how to put this together with a duct tape and a bike rack. For this design idea, what you will be needing are these items, the bike rack that extends from floor to ceiling with patted brackets on it. You will need a picture hanging kit, extension cord, 40 watt bulbs, some duct tape, a clamp light, and your favorite piece or art. And what we are going to do is we are going to grab our bike rack first and we are going to put it right in the corner because this is where I would like to have the designed idea. And these are really great. They are easy to use. I am going to show you I am wearing heels and I am going to put in this up. So you are going to squeeze the bottom. There is a little lever down here, we are going to pull that, and we are going all the way up until it gets to the ceiling. And once it is up there, you are going to twist it so it is nice and snug. And then we are going to adjust this to the height that you want. So our next step is our lighting. So we are going to take a clamp light here. These are really great because you do not have to drill holes, you do not have to tie anything. All you have to do is squeeze and the clamp is on. We are going to aim it up cord at the back of the picture frame and this one is not really sticking. So I am going to show you a little tip if you have a smooth surface. This is really smooth so we are going to pull out our handy dandy duct tape and we are going to just wrap our bike rack with this duct tape so it kind of give a little resistance. So we are going to stick it right down there, let us see if it works. Look at that. I am using a 40-watt bulb for this because we really do not want a super bright light. We just really want an ambiance to the room. So now that we have the lighting up, we are going to move to the favorite piece of artwork here. This is actually my favorite piece. I use to live in Japan and I was a buyer over there and I was actually in Hong Kong when I walked through a market place and I saw that painting. I absolutely fell in love with it. So this piece of artwork has a wire on it. If yours does not have a wire, then we can put a wire hanging kit on the back and I can show you that. Here is what you do if you do not have a wire on the back of your picture frame. You are going to get yourself a picture framing kit and you are going to use this little eyelet holes and they have screws on the end of them. And you do not actually need a hammer for this. You are probably going to go in about 2 inches and you are just going to screw it down. So you are going to take this picture hanging wire. I am going to slip the wire in, we are going to fold it, and we are going to give it a nice twist. And there you have your picture hanging kit in place. Now we are going to hang it up here upon this hook. I am going to get a good work out here. We are going to put it up here just like that. How awesome that looks. This is like a museum hanging here. As you can see, you could turn it to clear that. All right, so shall we plug it in and see what it looks like? Look how lovely that looks! I could have hanged anything here. A komono or you can use a decorative blanket to cover an ugly view, or support your favorite sports team, or you can put two pictures on here, or if you are feeling really crazy, how about using it as a bike rack. Well as you can see, this room is just as boring as it was before. Now the great thing about this design idea is you can bring the bike rack to your next destination and create the same fabulous look. Now if you have any skips of the ceiling, like trick? Use a little wipe out. You will not even know the difference. I am out of here.
