Marking Retired stamp set in catalog with Dawn Dawns StampingThoughts Hi stampers! Quick tip for you today. I am going to show you what I do when the retirement list is posted. I print out the copy of the list. And then, I go ahead stamped the images of this lips and it is signifies like kissing them goodbye and I am using the rose red ink pad. So, what I do is just I go through the catalog and I will stamp these lips on all the images of all the stamp set that are retiring. I have a piece of scrap crepe paper here and I ink it up but then I stamp off because if you stamp you image with the ink full color then it will be too wet and then it will have you pages stick together. When I can usually get two stamps per inking so I just go through and I stamp the page with the retired sets. [Demo] That is what I do. I just going to go through here and stamp this off. [Demo] I am trying to remember which one are retired. I have done all my catalogs. This was the last one I have to do. [Demo] Oops, this one is done too. [Demo] Then, when you get your catalog then you can just go through and you can actually see which one is retiring at a glance. And I have done this with my entire catalog. Let me show you the past catalogs. Okay, here is a couple catalogs that I have from past and you will notice all the lips indicate retired – let me see here. [Demo] Those are summary. There you see. Everything stamps with the lips that are retired. Here is one from 2006 and 2007. All the stamp sets with the lips are been retired just for quick reference.
