(Guitar Playing) I am open C tuning. It is something I discovered actually on You Tube. People are really surprised a lot of times that I tell people I learned a lot of watching You Tube and I have been experimenting writing some blues and also I run into some open tunings and one tuning I really like to hold which I have never used before is just open C tuning (Guitar Demo) In the guitar and it is basically extreme bend (Guitar Demo) It is a C chord and then I come down (Guitar Demo) Any kind of, I covered all the frets is basically as a Major chord (Guitar Demo) And the tuning is this, this is C, (Guitar Demo) G, (Guitar Demo) C, (Guitar Demo) G, (Guitar Demo) C C, (Guitar Demo) And E (Guitar Demo) And together, (Guitar Demo) It is like chord there so I go down (Guitar Demo) That would be the F chord or the four chord and it (Guitar Demo) That would be the five chord so open C, (Guitar Demo) The 5th fret with the F, (Guitar Demo) 7th fret would be G. (Guitar Demo) So, you play. Those would be the chords in key of C. If I wanted a minor chord, (Guitar Demo) That is the 3rd so if I find there is a G shape, here is the A, (Guitar Demo) So, here is A Major, something like a minor, (Guitar Demo) It is a little of a 3rd down. (Guitar Demo) So, it is with Dmin, (Guitar Demo) Emin (Guitar Demo) So, these would be the chords. That would be C, (Guitar Demo) D min, (Guitar Demo) E min, (Guitar Demo) G, (Guitar Demo) A min (Guitar Demo) And B dim which we do not normally use anyways and then back to, (Guitar Demo) That is C there. So, you really get some really cool sounds from this open C tuning. (Guitar Demo) And also because it is E, this is center E, I know where all of the notes right now so I will just be playing the C scale. (Guitar Demo) That is really cool because I can not bang all six strings. And with this open C tuning, I really can. (Strumming) It really has a really cool sound. (Guitar Demo) I just really fell in love with.
