Platinum brings to the table as it's powerful and it's meaningful and it's a great symbol for a wedding and it gets you after a right start, especially a wedding band in platinum. Durability is like none other and so I often recommended that we go with platinum when we look at wedding bands.
So it's important that you take the time to go out and find your rings long before you think of -- a couple of months, six months, a year, I mean, trends change, designs change, you are going to be educated, you are going to be looking at things you have never looked at before. You are going to see, all of a sudden you will notice every ring on every friend's finger. So take the time to go to a good jeweler, look at ahead of time, don't rush, choose platinum and you will be great every time.
For some reason I always note the minute the groom sees the bride for the first time and it's almost every single time, if you will notice this next time when you are at a wedding, he clutches his ring finger. It seems to be involuntary, but it happens almost every time.
There is also another moment in a wedding, especially a really beautiful wedding where there is a lot going on. You can always find the bride alone for a second, staring at her engagement and her wedding ring for the first time in her own private moment and everything just drifts away. It's just a beautiful thing to see.
Platinum should be the natural choice for a guy. I often hear that men don't want to wear jewelery, men don't like jewelery. I said to them, I want them to listen, I know you don't like to wear jewelery, but I think you can wear a Rolex. They shaked the head down, I can wear a Rolex, well, then you can wear platinum and you are good to go.
It's so durable, it's heavy, it's got a weight to it. It's not something that is going to be feminine or too smaller scale for somewhat larger hands. It's an obvious choice for grooms and I really recommend that the bride and groom wear the same material. They are partners for life, they should know that.
If I can give a genuine advice, don't wait till the last minute to pick your ring. It's one of the most important decisions you are going to make. So get out there, educate yourself and find out what platinum is all about.
