Hi! I am Johnny Lavoy and I am with Ford Artist. With the holiday season coming, I know you guys are going to have a lot of after-work parties to go to and you might not have time to do something that is special to your hair. So, what I am going to do is show you how to do something really elegant, quick and simple for that holiday party. Okay, so I am just going to start by fingering--I do not want severity by brushing so I am fingering all the hair back because I want a little texture and separation in the hair, okay. You see I am just sort of gathering all the hair with my fingers and it is giving me a nice texture. Because you still want it simple but you want it to--you do not want that severity because sometimes after-work parties are not really formal but they are a little dressy. Okay, so there, what I am going to do after I gathered all the hair, I am just going to spray it a little bit to hold it. I am going to take an elastic and I am using a black elastic and I am going to put the hair in a ponytail. So, after I put the hair in a ponytail I am just going to tighten it up like that. So, now we have a ponytail. Next, I am going to take a simple black ribbon that you can get at any trimming store. This is like a dollar a yard so there is like two yards here and I am going to slip it through the elastic. I am just going to leave about of that much out. Then what I am going to do is simply take some of the hair with the ribbon and I am going to braid it; a just one big braid and so that the ribbon shows through and after I have done that I am going to take another elastic and just secure the end. So, you can almost do this on the way to the party. So, after I have my braid what I am going to do is just simply turn it around in a gigantic bun, okay. Take big hairpins and separate it because you want the ribbon to show through and I am just going to take it and secure it all the way around. And after I have done that, I am going to take the ribbon, just tie it in a bow. Take a little hairpin. Pin the bow in just so you can get a little hide of it a bit, a little fluff. You could even loop it again. Secure that with a hairpin. This is where you get creative and have fun with it. So, that is a quick way to dress up a simple braid. It is so brilliant and fast. Yes it is so fast. Catch more ford models how to’s on V CAST from Verizon Wireless.
