Hand match ups: We will present a few examples of hands and the odds of each hand winning. Try to guess what the chances of winning are before it appears.
Big pair, a pair of aces against jack ten suited. The chances are now 78% for a win for the pair of aces and 22% for a win for a jack ten suited. The flop is ace of diamond, queen of spades and eight of diamonds. Now the chances are 60% and 40%. The turn is two of clubs. Now the chances are 70% and 30%.
Small pair, a pair of fives against ace queen suited. The chances are now 51% and 49%. The flop is eight of spades, eight of clubs and four of spades. The chances are now 69% and 31%. The turn is queen of diamonds. The chances are now 5% and 95%.
The power of Domination ace-king versus ace-jack. The chances are now 71% and 24% with a chances of a tie at 5%. The flop is ace of diamonds, ten of diamonds and five of clubs. The chances are now 87% and 13%. The turn is nine of clubs, the chances are now 93% and 7%.
The power of Suitness, ace-jack versus eight-seven suited and eight-seven unsuited. The chances are now 62% and 38% and if it was suited 58% and 42%. The flop is jack of clubs, six and five of spades. The chances are now 63% and 37% and if it was suited, 44% and 56%. The turn is eight of diamonds. The chances are now 70% and 30% and if it was suited 55% and 45%.
Best hand versus worst hand, a pair of aces versus a seven and a two. The chances are now 87% and 13%. The flop is ten and nine of spades and two of diamonds. The chances are now 80% and 20%. The turn is queen of diamonds, the chances are now 89% and 11%.
