Starting with the shimmy, we are always going to come back to the shimmy. So get the bounce in the hips and shake those hips out. We will get into a bounce with the legs. So point the toe to one side, tap it, bounce in the middle with the pelvis going from side to side just a simple little bounce here getting warmed up. Get the shoulders going. Bounce the shoulders one time to the beat with the bounce. And now pick up the pace of the shoulders. Bounce some faster even though the feet are doing one time, bounce twice with the shoulders. This is a great Bhangra move. Got to get it in the shoulders and stand still, come back to the center. We will go with the facial expressions. Stretch out the mouth and go “ooh, ah.” Turn the head, “ooh, ah.” Turn it. And stretch out the face, “wah, wah, wah.” And flubber the lips; relax the lips and neck stretches. Take the head down and up. Down, up. Stretch it out as far as comfortable. Turn it to the sides; keep the spines straight, sides. Relax everything out just the neck is stretching and turn the head so you are making a little scoop. You are saying yes in a very attitude kind of way. Take the chin to the shoulder and up and around. We will go double time. Bounce it from side to side looking forward now looking to the sides, right and left, going with attitude looking from side to side.
We will go a little faster now. Have a little bounce in the chin. Take the hands beside the ears and slide the neck trying to get the ear to the fingers to redo this little Indian head move. Smile as you do. This is really fun and pick up the pace, let us try it a little faster looking towards the hands. Each side you go and relax the head down. Let us roll it all the way around and the other way, really getting the neck loose here. Big circles in one direction and then the other, getting the head and neck really nice and loose—Get back into the shimmy. Shake the hips out. Get the little sassiness in those hips. And shake the head on the spot. So standing still with the body to shake the head—Come back for this shimmy. So we will shimmy the head and shimmy the hips, alternating. Shake the head and the hips now. The head, you can bring the hands up this time, shake the head out. You can get the shoulders into it.
Now just the shoulders bounce—Bounce the shoulders into place. Now the head and the shoulders, and just the shoulders—Take one hand to the ear, one arm out, bounce the shoulders, look in that direction. Do your bounces here and we will gracefully go to the other side. Shake the shoulders out. Smile in the direction that you are going, switch to make a mood there with one hand, index and thumb come together. The other fingers are straight. Aye okay with the hand. Shake the shoulders out. Bounce your shoulders in the other side—a little attitude in the face here. It is almost like a warrior move. And double time. Bounce twice. Keep it going if you can—really working it up, warming it up. Let yourself smile. The other side—keep alternating if you feel like it. Keep it going and now we are going to roll those shoulders one at a time. Soft little roll opening up to sides of the body—really lift that shoulder up and around. Keep the knees bent here and now all the way. See if you can pivot the whole body as you bring the shoulder up, little bigger of a movement, not too much bigger, but a little bit. Very sexy move here, let your body get into it, sling. And we will go back to that little bounce, bouncing from side to side, really get a deeper bounce now.
Bring that pelvis down, looking from side to side and now we are going to add the hand. Hello! Looking from side to side. Good and come back to this shimmy. This is our warm up segment.
