watchmojo.com Chris: Hi again! This is Chris with watchmojo.com. I am here with Jennifer who works for CDF Audio and she is going to show us some of their offerings here. Hi Jen! How are you doing? Jennifer: Okay. How about yourself? Chris: Good. Good. So, what do you have here? Jennifer: Okay. Start with cool little gadgets. [Jennifer Cytrynbaum-Coupdefoudre Audio/Video Expert] for the people who are beginners and who are into hi-tech stuff that works cool integrating into your lifestyles, this is something we just got in. Newly available in North America, it is XtremeMac. It is just available in Quebec now for the first time. The packaging is not available in French yet but this is iDock with radio; it is a high fidelity system. Little speaker set with a subwoofer at the bottom of it. It is portable, beautiful and very sleek. Tivoli radios; these little guys, all the architects and designers go ape for this stuff. It is a little, tiny dock system. They have their little iDock station as well. Tiny, little Scandyna speakers, these are like, you know, freakishly futuristic but really awesome for small room; really stylish, really modern. This guy here is my favorite item in the store, it is called the Squeezebox. What it does is it goes through your wireless to your mp3s on your hard drive and hooks it up directly to your sound system so that you no longer need to have all of your music hiding in the back office with your computers. Turntables, by the way people, have not gone out of style. These are clear audio turntables. Chris: Oh! Wow! Does this material – this must have some sort or barring or effect on the audio quality itself? Jennifer: Absolutely. The density of the tables and the way it has been is really important. It is not just form; it is also function. It needs to be a really dense, really heavy platter in order to keep the detail in sad music. It is very stylish, very serious sound. Chris: Let us get down on the river, might as well have— Jennifer: Absolutely. You need to have all of these spiking at the bottom of the turntable so that you can have an – a herd of elephants run across your floor and you do not skip a beat.
