Hi, in this video, we are going to talk about how to tighten a towel bar. As you can see this towel bar is a little shaky here so we are going to tighten it up. All you need for this job is a cordless drill and many flat head screwdriver and what we would like to call the toggle bolt.
The first thing that you wanted to do now is to unscrew this on one small screw button here, there is one screw holding this together and ready to just release that and put this to the side and so I grab my cordless drill.
Okay, did you see I have regular plastic dry wall ankles in here? I am going to remove this altogether and put the toggle bolt inside. I am going to the same holes, I can put this in here and I will start to twist it on. As I put it inside the hole it is going to spring up like so and I got to screw it tighter and actually give it more pressure which I made it extremely tight; which is the great thing about this toggle bolt.
I put one on the other side and get it started.

One, you hear the snap; hit the other one in there, here it goes, okay. You want to grab the cordless drill. Now, you want to pull on this a little bit. As I actually pull on it, you will feel it tightening back.

Now, it is tight so what I am going to do is I am just kind of just position that where I want to position that. Tighten it, now there is no shifting in there and whatsoever.
Now, at this point, I will go ahead and tape my towel bar. Reinstalled it, grab my mini flat head screwdriver we have here.

Okay and at this point, you have successfully repaired your towel bar.
