Hi! I’m Bob Schmidt with Home Remodel Workshop. Very rarely do I buy a tool or a storage container, or something along those lines, where I know I’m going to be using that thing for the next 20 years until I retire and then probably retire into my home shop. Even though I’m a big fan of plastic cans for storing nails and screws and things along those lines, for those of us who are on the go who have to get to job sites, taking everything you need is really difficult. I found a really sleek, simple little storage container to take with you that can take so much harbor with you that it may save you many trips to the hardware store. I’ll show you what it is. Let’s get to work. And what that product is is this right here. It is called a clincher. And what I like about this other than open trays and things that fit in bucket buddies and things along those lines is if you have a little accident, it flips over, falls, you pick it up, grab it, open back up and there’s a very, very little crossover between all the different compartments in here. This parts bag here, although this one is called a clincher, it’s offered by the Loot Trading Company, my wife actually bought it for me from a magazine. Other companies make them and they call them parachute bags. This one here is for all my screws. When I’m out on a project, I need many different sized screws and it’s easy to mark the different sized screws right on the side of the container so that I know exactly well—there is my miscellaneous. I have one of those in every bag. But it’s real easy to mark them, so that when I get out there on a job and I need just one or two of these or three or four of those, I know I have everything I need in this one little spot. With this simple little pinch and zip drawstring, which I’m sure we’ve all seen them in a lot of our clothing, it’s really easy as long as you take a couple of seconds and synch them up real tight and then it keeps it from having little crossover from compartment to compartment. Even if it’s knocked over or shaken or you slide this on your hand and you’re walking up a ladder or something so you’re hands free. This thing is just awesome. Another nice feature about this bag is if you get your five-gallon bucket in a halfway different lid, they come in different colors so that you can organize them by what to use this. This is my screw bag. This is probably going to end up being my trim nail bag. You put about a pound of each in each one of these containers or whatever, you know, clips or whatever you need, and they fit nicely in a five-gallon bucket so you can stack about four of them dudes in here. Get your weatherproof lid and pop the lid on, and then it’s almost like having a portable hardware store. These are available to order online. You can have them sent directly to your house. My wife bought this from a magazine, The Loots Trading Company Magazine. And the scary thing about buying things from magazines is you’re never sure what you’re going to get. This is one of those rare items that she picked up for me as a gift that I’m just thrilled to death with and I’m sure I’m going to get many more of them before I’m done. And it’s something that not only can I use in my truck and on the go, but it’s also because of the way they have this nice little strap that you can hang them on things. I’m sure I’m going to be having these things hanging all over my house and I’ll be set for hardware for life. I like to keep it simple and effective here at Home Remodel Workshop. This is one of those simple little tools that’s just going to make my life a little easier. I’m Bob Schmidt with Home Remodel Workshop. Have a great day. Home Remodel Workshop, have a great day.
