[Advertisement] [Music Playing] Hey, everyone. I am Eric Rochow and this is Real World Green. Today, we are in the suburbs and I want to talk about something that kind of drives me a little nuts. That is Eric issue as you can tell. When we are in the suburbs, or around today at my dad’s house and first of all, he is watering the lawn in the middle of the day and that is really quite wasteful because in the middle of the day, the sun is way up here and the lawn scorched already, thank you. But most of the water that you are spraying around evaporates. It does not go into the soil. The best time to water is in the early morning. If you water at night, what you can get is, you can get some funguses that are growing on the soil at night. So that is bad thing. The second thing I want to talk about is when you do turn on your sprinkler, use a water timer with your sprinkler. This works really well because you can basically hook this up to the hose, you set it at how long you want to run and then you can walk away and forget about it. How many times have you run your sprinkler and then you go, Oh, Jeez., I left the sprinkler on. So water timer and water in the morning. And you can have a beautiful lawn like this. Ideally, you are going to have a small lawn, right, because we already talked about that. But—all right, there you go. I am tired to of getting hit by the sprinkler here. So come to the greenhouse, tell us some ideas that you have. Do you have a water timer, what kind do you use, what kind do you like? All right, make it a great day. I will enjoy the suburbs as best I can. All right. [Music Playing]
