Someone describe me and just combining New York street smarts with creative vision and that is what I like to going to today. (Music playing) One of the questions people frequently ask me is when should we hire a career counselor, and the answer is really before you need one. So often, people awaiting until they are about to be fired or have been fired and then they suddenly wake up and think that God, I do not have a network, I do not have the selling skills. I do not know how to manage a job, I do not even know if I am on the right career or field. When you are thinking about how to develop your career at any stage from senior to just beginner, that is the time to start thinking about a career counselor. Career counsels do a lot of different services for you, we help you create a vision and we help you carry it out. When I say the people is I like to initially help you find the dials so that you can drive your car. You need to know what your values are. You need to know what your skills are, and you need to know what your passions are, and I find that motivation. It is passion is very, very vital. Those are some of the ways to start thinking about whether you need to start working on your career, working on the job that you already have, think about negotiating into your next job and also I work this a lot of people and have it negotiate out of the job. I do not want any of you to be shocked when you get fired. It is something you can manage that causes and when you are thinking of leaving the company or you have a wrong boss or you have a culture that does not match who you are, that is a great time to start thinking about career counseling but I hope that you do it all along the line.
