Hello everybody, how are you doing? This is Michael Goudelock back here from my blog posting on getting and staying organized. I mean this in both of your online and offline life. Now, when you first get started in our marketing, if you do not have a plan for staying organized, you are going to find very quickly piloting your first three months that there are just so many different things going on around you and it is hard to keep it all organized therein perspective. And you have expenses, sales coming from everywhere, you have to keep track for taxes, you have to pay people you are outsourcing, you have all types of bills coming in, you have all types of different programs, websites, domains. I mean, it is just hosting. It just gets crazy. And if you do not have a plan for staying organized, you are eventually going to hurt yourself more than you are helping yourself. When we first start out, get some type of binder to keep all your expenses, business expenses separate. Keep everything for tax purposes because you will need it when tax time comes around. Online, you need to create separate folders. You cannot just have 50 different folders for different projects, different websites. You need to have main folders. You need to work on organizing it so you can find things easily. When you are editing websites and sending out different emails, it is so easy to get confused. If you are really looking to start a bunch of websites and do a lot in entering at marketing, you need to have a plan for staying organized. It will save you a lot of headache, a lot of time and a lot of money. I have to keep my desk as paperless as possible. I figured that lesser papers, less chances of something to get lost, less paper have to deal with organizing so I try to do everything on line. I like to use word files and I just have it all separated in folders. I really make sure that I have a folder for expenses, folder for the people I outsource to. I try to keep my desktop as organized as possible. Another thing that you need to make sure you do, if you are looking to get to do this full-time, is you need to backup all your stuff often. Because, it is very easy for your hard drive to crash or you are hosting to have problems. And even to see as you start, you are going to have so many different programs, different templates and different websites that you need to have a way to have it backed up. And what I use is, I use a USB hard drive. I got it off at eBay, Philips, 250 gigabytes USB hard drive, kind it for like $80.00. And just once or maybe twice a week, I backup everything that I have done that week and I actually sort it by like I have a new website, new e-book new sales letter. I just list it and I put it on the backup hard drive and it just makes me sleep better at night, because I have gone through the hard drive crashing before and it cost me so much time and money and frustration. If I would have just invested in this $80.00 hard drives, I do not have everything backed up. So, make sure you do that. It is completely worth the $80.00. Finally, I like to use a white board for goals and task. To go on any large salesroom, car sales, insurance sales, they all have huge white board with sales goals and what they want to do that week. You need to be at the same way. Wherever you work, it is your sales battle room. So you need to have a white board, saying what you are going to accomplish that week, what your goal is, what are your conversion rate goal is. You need to be that because people who write down their goals and stare at them, when they wake up and before they go to bed are usually the people who complete those goals. Buy a white board or a bulletin board, get something like that that you can hang on your wall, keep everything organized. All right guys, just stay organized, trust me.
