Vitamin C is essential for the production of collagen, or the protein that helps skin to hold its shape and bounce. It's also an antioxidant, meaning that it's responsible for fighting free radical damage that can cause signs of premature aging and cancer.

Vitamin C is found in most fruits and vegetables, including broccoli, berries, and citrus fruits.
