John T. Jones, Ph.D. who often calls himself the Hack Writer (in less serious articles or where he is writing pure opinion) is a retired V. P. of a Fortune 400 Company and editor of an International Trade Magazine. He is a prolific writer having published detective and western novels, technical books, and an engineering career guide. His interest in industry were technical management and product development. Jones had published hundreds of articles for Internet readers and many articles in scientific and trade journals.
Nothing is sacred with Taylor Jones the Hack Writer. He writes on any subject that comes to his mind. That includes humor and recipes, politics and current events, science and science fiction. You name it, he will write it.
Jones had a number of "commercial" websites but it seems he can help others to make money on the Internet but doesn't seem to have much luck himself. Well he has made a buck or two on the Internet but he is too old and lazy to keep that up. He leaves that to his son.
Jones is currently in a two-year art course to improve his paintings. He decided that being self-taught only goes so far. He is an ardent church workers but no longer goes on scout hikes. He does take his Idaho grandkids fising. Oh, yes. He likes birding, taking lot of photgraphs to compare with those of his St. Louis son.
Jones live in Idaho. He and his wife, Pat, have 32 grandkids with one more on the way. They have 2 great grandchildren. Their four sons are in medicine except for the attorney. Their daughter is a portrait artist.
